canon speed and temp syncronization

is this possible? there is nothing in the manual. seems like the speed and temp probe is no longer giving correct speed readings. when the boat is at 2.5 on the gps, the probe was reading 0 mph. had to get boat up to like 4-5mph before the speed and temp would register.

I would check your paddle wheel. Sounds like something is rubbing to make it not work at low speeds.
