Rigging Sea Anchors

Just wondering how to rig sea anchors to my boat for trolling? I have a 1989 Four winns sundowner 225 closed bow. I will be downrigging, and I heard that using sea anchors can help my I/O from getting loaded up. I don't have a kicker yet. Somewhere I read that you can attach them to the bow. Just got new paint on the boat, and didn't want to chafe it up with ropes rubbing on it all day. Does this mean my only choice is to drag them off of the back?

I run mine off the cleats with no problem. I put them on at the dock and keep them inside the boat and drop them in when ready to troll. I am only in a 21 foot boat so I am lower to the water but they do not seem to rub anything but the rub rail.
