Fished 7:30 to 10:00, in 120 to 200 fow. 50 to 60 down and struggled to keep six rods in the water, dipsy with ff at 150 on 2.5 was the stud by far but all rods took fish.  Greens and blacks for us. Fishing was truly on fire!!

Sounds like a hot morning... were you trolling east toward Wilson, or west toward to microwave out of Olcott?

I usually don't get on Ontario until August, but from what I've read the fishing's been hot all year so far. Sounds like I should be there now. And in fairly close.

Thanks,

Typically, for king's I'm trolling around 2.3-2.6 mph. Much like walleye trolling on Lake Erie. Could go up to 3.0 mph to trigger bites if needed. If I'm running flashers with flies or meat rigs, I'm running 2.0-2.3 mph. Its nothing for coho's to run 3.0 mph and above.
