Hey everyone! I'm on day 2 of trying to find salmon on the lake. I'm out on my boat with my dad and my friend and his dad. So far we've only caught 2 salmon. Had 2 more shake off at the boat. We are having a lotta trouble finding them. Not sure what we are doing wrong or where to go. We launch out of Mexico point. Currently running two rods, one dipsy and spoon one dipsy with flasher and fly. Any tips or advice?? Really want my friend and his dad to get some fish and enjoy the trip. Thank you!!

How deep are you fishing? Do your reels have line counters? How fast are you going? Are you running Mono, braid, or Wire? There's fish everywhere this year, it comes down to adjusting your speed and the depth your lures are at. Sometimes they just don't like the colors you have out. A number 1 diver on a 2 setting out 225-250 feet has done well for me recently.

I've been fishing in about 100/110 feet of water with 50lb braid on dipsy divers. My sog is about 2.8/3mph not sure what my actual lure speed is. Was using #3 divers on 2 setting with about 250ft of line out using line counters.

One dipsy is with a flasher and fly the other is just a spoon, I've got a bunch of different colors to try too. Just grabbed a meat rig to try in the morning. Launch outta Mexico point.

Those #3 divers are to small , especially with a FF/ Meat rig behind it.
get a couple #1’s with rings and you will be able to get down 70-80’.
