Quick report.  Still on the water. 

 

Lots of fish 8 miles south of stony Island (Jefferson County)140fow. Fish are tight to the bottom. Waters warm, but they'll bite if you get close enough. 

 

2 in the boat so far. Caddy Shack seems to be the winning spoon today.

Friday, fished 180 to 220 out in front big river a little towards plant. Tough fishing, marked tons of fish piled into the bay,,had a rough time getting anything to bite. Tried spoons,ff,meat rigs,,,changed direction,changed bait changed speeds,,,,fished a long time. Only caught 1 decent salmon.saturday, fished for browns 80-120 feet in Mexico bay because of a stiff SSE wind,,real bumpy. Most boats pegged close to the plant. Caught a couple browns and called it a day. Lots of bait in the bay
