Hey Rich, do you run spoons behind flashers on your Dipsey Rigs?

Rich— what do mean when you describe you location as the north line 27 to 30?  I try to follow your trip report via my I-boating nautical chart app…Are these LORAN TDs or something else…It does not appear to be lat/longs as Oak Orchard is roughly 43~44 N and 78~79 W.  I even checked the decimals (i.e., 43.27 to 43.30) and it’s south of Oak Orchard.

They are GPS coordinates. Oak Orchard is located about 22N 12W. So, for example, 30N is about 8 miles offshore.

Hmmm…my GPS, i-Boating nautical charts, and Google Earth show Oak Orchard at Latitude: 43° 16' 16.20" N
Longitude: -78° 19' 34.20" W

Looking at your picture, you have Black North in at 43° 22'.  Point north until you hit 43° 27'.  Each minute is just over a standard mile.  Hope this helps.
