If money was not the factor what brand & model of fishfinder/chartfinder would you purchase & why

As a wise man once said “ Life is a matter of rational choice amidst a condition of scarcity”.  There is no such thing as money not mattering. This is especially so for most of us wherein luxury purchases are pretty far down on the list of life’s money. spending priorities. Indeed I would argue that nothing is more important than making a decision about fishing equipment that provides the best rate of return while simultaneously providing an experience that reflects all concerned individual’s needs (others in the family)

I researched a lot . I wanted to get the best for the buck.

I went into Sportsman Wearhouse to buy some jig stuff in Feb . I walked by the depthfiders and saw SALE .

I looked at Lawrence marked down.

I wound up with a Hook Reveal 7 Split  Shot.

I'm extremely happy with it , does everything I could want

Best part , original price 599$ . Marked down 349$ .When I said that's the one I wanted to the guy working there he said " this is your lucky day " he had stickers in his hand to mark it down to 279 $ .

Did not like it at first , modern depth finders are more complicated than early models . Once I set transducer  to 200 kz , set noise to low  and increases sensitivity a little , it works great .

Even though money would not be a mayor problem , I would still wait for Black Friday. It would give me more time to do my research and once Black Friday sales come around I would know exactly what to look for and because of specials I would be able to get even better bang for my buck. I would look for separate 9 inch  fishfinder and chartplotter monitors probably garmin  or furuno. The Fishfinder would be a chirp. But most of my money would go to a real good transducer.
