oil change on Yamaha 9.9 high thrust kicker

[Bad Habit]

 I'm getting ready to winterize my "new to me" 1997 Yamaha 9.9 high thrust kicker. What is the recommended oil and gear lube for this motor? Not sure what was used before. whether it was synthetic, synthetic blend, or regular oil.

I’d just buy a 100hr maintenance kit from Sim Yamaha, it includes all the necessary filters as well. Just need to provide the serial number. Thats what I do with my 2015 high thrust T9.9
