Looking for a pair of good Steelhead Chest waders? Salmon River is mighty cold in February.

Every time I get Neoprene waders they do not last. Last year first time in leaked. But they are warm.

I like chest waders with boots attached. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

What is your budget? You still want neoprene or looking to try breathable? You definitively want a boot foot wader?

fyi- you can more than likely search this question in previous threads. Same topic is usually brought up this this time of year again and again.  A couple months from now it will be “how to keep my hands warm.” Lol

Very warm and I like them  .

Reasonably priced 225$ I think

Budget is $200 to $600, Neoprene waders also leak. Would like them with attached boot. Can you get insulated breathable?

Will check out Frogg Togg waders .

Look at the Frogg Toggs steelheaders, Do these keep you warm in early February ? Did you get a bigger boot size and add insulated socks?

Almost all waders will eventually leak. The question is whether you can identify where the leaks have occurred and repair them on the spot. I always carry UV-curable patches with me and they are a game changer, as they will even cure under water.

I've heard that the Frogg Togg bootfoot are decent for the price, but have myself gone with Simms and Patagonia. All have required some level of repair after years and many hours wading.

My feet get cold when it's warm and my Frogg Toggs were the best waders I have ever had and I have had like 5 pairs of Neoprene .

At the price if you take decent care of them and they last 5 years you got your money's worth .
