Have a 12 gauge Browning Gold semi auto that doesn’t cycle rounds. Had a local shop look at it thinking it just needed a new return spring but apparently there are a lot of moving parts involved. Does anyone know of someone close to Rochester that is knowledgeable about these guns?

Thank you

I had the same issue with my Browning Gold hunter 12 gauge with 3 inch chamber. I replaced the gas piston and and clean it around ever 100 rounds and have not had a problem since

I have not taken a part or worked on the Browning but i have done tons on the Rem 1100's. I think they operate about the same

I would double check the "rings" on the slide magazine tube to make sure they didnt get out of order or backwards.

The "tube" that they slide on that sometimes while cleaning gets oil or grease on it. That tube is suppose to he clean but no grease or oil, Check for the small holes to that the gas escapes from, if they get dirty, plugged, that will slow that mechanism down too

Hope it helps
