Dogs ran this male almost 11 miles before he finally made a mistake.

Beautiful stuff.
I appreciate you and Ethan coming to help try to recover the one I shot last night.
Great time of year

Been a bit of a tough week. Lost my chocolate lab Zoe to congestive heart failure on Tuesday and as with losing any beloved pup (she saw me through lots of phases of life) it's been a dark cloud kinda week.

With that said it was nice to get out last night and chase some yotes on a couple of quick sets. Manny made some magic happen right off the bat and pulled in a nice male coyote right on a string. We tried to coax three more into range but after I dumped the first one, they weren't having it. Still, it was a good night to get out and clear the head.

Sorry about your dog, that’s never easy.

Thanks Bill, no it’s not. She was my first dog as an independent adult so she was with me through thick and thin. She was a real good pup.

Sorry for your loss..... I have always had Choc labs... I have two males right now. I could take or leave most people... But dogs are different. They are family ...

Hi there, I have a lot of advice lol. PM me for super specific stuff. AGM is super solid, Iray is fantastic and of course Pulsar is quality. Personally I would stay with those brands for quality and warranty. Be VERY VERY mindful that you are paying for picture image at BASE MAG. Every step you take up, decreases the image quality into the next category. So if you buy a 384 that has a 4x base mag, you have essentially purchased a 640 scope that has a 2x base mag. The more you research the more you realize that there are some gimmicks to the industry to milk a 1000 or so out of the buyer.

Thank you I appreciate it. Something a lot of people don’t quite get is how much a dog can mean to you….

I missed one yesterday <embarrassed>.  Moved a few hundred yards, call three more in under 100 yards, but couldn't get decent shot.  Time to start saving for thermal

Had a visitor to my bait pile this morning. I hope he comes back soon.
