Guest Speaker at February Meeting 

Brian C Weidel, PhD from the USGS will be the guest speaker at the February 4th meeting. He will be discussing the results of the 2024 baitfish assessment on Lake Ontario.
This annual trawling data is the leading indicator when discussing stocking numbers in the lake and many lake wide decisions hinge on the information that is collected.

Brian Weidel is a research fishery biologist with the U.S. Geological Survey Great Lakes Science Center where he leads collaborative research on prey fishes and native fish restoration ecology.
