I'm new to salmon fishing and will mostly fish alone on Lake Ontario, Canadian side. The regs limit is 2 lines per angler.

That isn't much of a spread.

Spring recommendations?

Summer?

I have dipsy's, downriggers are expected to arrive in the spring. Are in line planer boards worthwhile?

I fish alone a lot . Especially for staggers after Labor Day .

My setup is 1 line on each rigger .

If you run them back the same lead and 10 ft apart vertically you can turn on a dime and stay on top of the marks . Use this to your advantage .

If it's calm , maybe one rigger and 1 dipseys .

If you are shallow , don't be afraid to run long rigger leads 75 to 125 ft with ball 2 ft down .

My recommendation would be to do the old school method of manikins dressed in HUK gear and enjoy a full FUBAR spread.
