I responded to your other post.  Check out Winchester Labradors in Smethport PA.  Great people to deal with and my two labs from them have been awesome.

If your willing to travel a bit look into Mallard Point Kennels in Pownal Maine.

Top notch Labs. My boy Tuukka just turned 11 and he has been great. Before Tuukka we had Bruin and again he was an awesome dog, a little pricey but the Labs are quality. They have a spay/ neuter agreement so if your looking to breed your dog you will have to look elsewhere. I will try to put a link to the website.

If your looking for an English Blocky head Lab... I have two from Koket Creek Labs. Very good family dogs and good hunters.

   They are located in Guys Mills Pennsylvania... Near Erie.

I got my Golden retriever from a Mennonite family in Ovid. It seems that the local mennonite community does a lot of dog breeding where there is one or two dogs and not a puppie mill. you probably know or know of some mennonite families around you. You can ask them and they will be happy to direct you to a breeder.
