If you want a slip, you need to get on the waiting list.  I'm not sure if Tommy has any docks left for this year.  Usually, he has a couple guys on a waiting list to get in.

I was told that their permit was extended until 4/15/25 and my guess is they will be dredging right up until that date. I think they have the channel closed off until they are done.

Any update on the dredging?

looks like a new wave break on the east side just further out than the end of the break wall.

where did they pump the sand?

I stopped at Westpoint Marina on April 21and spoke to a guy working there he said that aside from the rough water that impacts their ability to dredge, they also are having some hydraulic issues on the Dredge itself

With that being said they were hoping to have the channel open around May 1

That’s kind of funky. They have been at it for a month. Going to be interesting if they try to close the channel during the summer.

The Braddock Bay channel is now open for use, dredging complete.... I was out cycling by Westpoint Marina this afternoon and noticed the dredge tied up and workers off loading piping. I inquired with regard to completion and one of the workers advised they were finished, with the channel open for use. Present depth is 4' - 6'.

The marina's "official" facebook page says the channel is open, the dredge is out of the water and up on blocks as of Tuesday afternoon
