Can anybody report as to whether the shore ice held up through the rain and warm up the last few days? I would like to get out one last time on Monday but with a 1.5hr drive I want to be sure it's worth the trip.

I'm hoping if anything is deteriorated that it would lock up again Saturday night through Sunday with below freezing temps.

Thanks!

I don't know the condition of the ice, but when I drove past north end yesterday there was 4 tents out there.

Fished it today. I was in 9 feet of water. The water was stained this weekend where I was and wasn't last weekend.  9.5 inches of good ice.

Out here as well, ran in to Sk8man in the parking lot.

Based on my success so far, I'm not in the running to win today's LOU perch derby.

Here’s the highlight so far me. My bump board stops at 22” and she hung over that by probably 3-4” more! Biggest one I’ve ever caught, perch bite shut off for me early it seems, haven’t marked a fish in a few hours.

Fished 8 -2pm.  Slow, alot  of loookers but not alot of bites.

9Ended up bring home 8 decent fish, so not gonna go hungry tonight for dinner.

Plan on heading out again tomorrow, based on weather forcast, it's looking like that will be it for the season.

I was went out of the hotel yesterday there's a 2 foot gap between rocks and ice i had a 4 foot plank worked fine.  The ice was still 5 to 7 but I could only get as far as nine feet but the perch were in there.  I don't know what this wind is doing to it now. But where I fished Tuesday it was open water now.  I also studded everywhere I went use caution if you try it

Swung by at lunchtime.    Wind has beaten up the ice, and west of Kershaw over past the pier & island was lots of open water.
