18 lb Catfish

We went bass fishing in Lake Erie a couple weekends ago and a friend ended up catching an 18lb catfish in 20ft of water jiging a worm. It put up one heck of a fight on 6lb ultralite rod. We had to go after the fish with the trolling motor because it was taking so much line. We only caught one trophy bass @ 4lbs. It was kind of a slow day but we still had a great time with the mystery fish till it came to the boat.
