Timing is everything but recently released on Amazon Prime is the show The Fish Thief A Great lakes Mystery. It's about the devastation the Sea Lamprey brought to the Great Lakes Fishery. We sometimes take for granted our fishery and this documentary puts a lot into perspective about how hard it was to control the Lamprey as well as touching on the introduction of Salmon into the Great Lakes. It puts names and faces to the people that made these things happen. I really had no idea how bad things were before Lamprey treatments were introduced.
