Finally got on the water. Have not started this late in the year for a very long time.

Launched at 7am next to the Coast Guard Station, pulled out at 11am.

Trolled west staying between 10fow and 20fow . Highest water temp we found was 39deg.

Picked up 8 nice browns in the 5-8lb class.  Had one double.  Lost another 3. One that we lost was not a brown but not sure what it was. It hit the rapala and took off, jumped twice and threw the hook. Never got a good look at it.  Orange was the color of the day for us.

At about 10:30am the ESE wind picked up, got very bumpy and very cold. Had a real tough time getting the boat back on the trailer, the bay was very rough.

Saw one other boat.

Short day but well worth it.
