I'm curious what size Chinook Diver is recommended for Spring fishing. I'm leaning towards Size 1 but if the Size 2 works in skinny water I'll go with them for the extra depth later on in the season.

Thanks Gambler. I should probably just get both. I'll probably end up with the whole lineup eventually. My wife says I have a tackle addiction!

I use 1's when I'm really shallow.  I use 2's when I'm a little deeper.

It's actually a serious clinical syndrome, referred to as G.A.S.

We all get G.A.S.

We run the 2's. I should get a set of 1's and try them.

That being said, I was out trying to get a customer a Lake Trout a few weeks back and took a Chinook #2 and moved the weight all the way in to make it dive. I ran it with braid and was able to bump bottom in 50'. I was impressed.

That is impressive! Can't wait to get mine wet. Setting up the braid rods today.

I find a clear trip Z diver is extremely effective and once tripped cannot even tell it's on the line . I run them on a diver rod with about a 10 foot leader with a size 40 trip diver.
