I haven’t been to Eel Bay but many launches are now open. Too early for perch to be in Eel Bay shallows as they are still out in deep water.
Might be able to get some in Goose Bay or Chippewa. Possibly also at Chaumont or Henderson.

Should be.  Ice breakers have been through and shipping traffic is starting.  Bear in mind though that we are dealing with record low water levels at this point so if you're coming with a boat, check if launches are usable and be VERY careful around shoals.

I decided to wait until next weekend to go up. I don’t need a launch, but the front of my lift is pretty shallow normally. Hopefully the water isn’t so shallow I can’t get the boat off the lift.🤞🏻

Nice! I would think they should be starting to come in soon. I’m hoping to come up this weekend and go out weather permitting. Looks rainy up there this weekend.

If you’re fishing offshore try to get a full day charter you’ll need the extra time to run to the fishing grounds. It’s about an hour and half one way to get to where you really need to be
