Spring perch fishing

Anybody know if the ice is out of Eel Bay yet and the perch are biting?

  I haven’t been to Eel Bay but many launches are now open. Too early for perch to be in Eel Bay shallows as they are still out in deep water. 
  Might be able to get some in Goose Bay or Chippewa. Possibly also at Chaumont or Henderson.
