Conesus Lake Inlet Footage 2025

[Big fat pike]

I was wondering if recently anyone has been down to the Conesus inlet and had footage of the pike making it over the dam as i have only heard they were making it over this year but have no actual footage and is also quite a drive for me

I was there last week and the water was pretty low and only flowing over the east side of the spillway.  It was tough to see anything.  Unfortunately you can't get to that side anymore because the eagles have created a next over there.

I was there Sunday and didn't see any pike, but I'll be there on Friday to find that Eurasian wigon duck and to see if any pike there

The pike and the walleye are running. There are some big walleyes. Gets me excited. Some decent Pike. Saw one tiger muskie there's a bunch in there with other fish

Thx was the tiger the one in the photo

No that was a pike  in picture . The tiger muskie was in a deeper pool. Was hard to get a picture,   But I'd say it's worth going

It is actually possible that tiger was there to try to spawn

from what i have heard the females can but the males cant so they would spawn with a pike and the young would revert back to pike

Do you think those rudd are trying to spawn too

i wonder if pike prefer them over alewives at all

I'm not really sure Rudd are there to spawn or, just eat the eggs, But they would make a good meal since there 10 inches long for the pike and walleyes

Rudd don't eat eggs just the plants the fish lay their eggs on
