Livewell drain screens

Does anyone know how to get the screen on the livewell drain on the outside of the transom off? I'm not sure if they unscrew, or are pressed on. I tried removing mine, they won't move and I don't want to break anything and create more work. Boat is a 19' Starcraft superfisherman, I want to plug off the one livewell so that I can use it for dry storage.

I have a 1996 17 ft. Superfisherman, if you're talking about the plastic screen caps, they unscrew. I removed both of mine, plugged them and screwed them back on.

One came off, it's reverse thread. The other is stuck, need to figure out a way to unscrew it with breaking anything, probably need to wait till it's a bit warmer outside.
