Canandaigua FLTA - April 13th Woodville

Took a break from chasing south shore Lake Ontario browns to get re acclimated to my riggers and long lines with Brett and @Hickel24
 

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—Canandaigua Lake is every bit as good as any other Finger Lake when it comes to trout fishing

 

We setup right before vine valley looking for an early silver and were rewarded with a nice 4 lb rainbow that will make some nice fish tacos tonight!

 

we couldn’t find the bait we were looking for north of vine valley so we cut across and found pods of it on the bottom in 150 to 190

 

we grabbed one of our Harvey silver 15 lb weights and put it down 150 with a dirty snowman standard stinger with a some extra glow and uv tape and it took 3 big lakers.

 

After our box was full of lakers we headed to the east side on the southend and got a nice brown before we had to pull up and weigh in.

Huge box for the weigh in. Technically 3 wins and a 2nd in your last 4 tournaments there. Way to go my friend.

Woiuld you know when the FLTA date is for Owasco Lake this year.   Havent seen a 2025 schedule
