Garmin Reactor 40 Kicker Autopilot. Practically new. All parts are there and extra extension cable from ECU to CCU. Extra backbone cables. Control from GHC50 and hand held remote as well as Garmin Finder/plotter. Never saw the water. All was tested before I took it off the boat I sold. Cost 2,999 new. 1999 Cash only. Is yours loud when it's running?  I installed one in my boat and it seems loud to me but not sure if it's normal or not.

The only thing that could make noise is the cork screw ram at the kicker end and it will only get noisy if it is working under a tight angle or when it is really badly greased.

When you try it out of the water though it will keep on trying to steer the boat and that might make a noise.

I meant the pump itself when it is working, mine is connected to one of my main motors.  I think I might have a little bit of air trapped although it works good.

There are many versions of Reactor autopilots. For main outboard hydraulic drive you need 2.0 or Smart pump. If yours is smaller it might make noise from overworking.
