Your journey with your grand children's would have been nice , even it seems that your grand children's have enjoyed their days. I always love to do fishing at loon lake and it's a decent place for fishing rainbows 8 - 14 inches.

James I was shocked when I saw this post from a year ago pop up and then one from 2 years ago too in the ice fishing reports, but I think we are not talking about two different "Loon Lakes". This Loon lake and the one in the other post you responded to is located in Wayland NY which is about 1 hour south of Rochester NY. There are no rainbows in that lake at all.

Welcome to the site though
