I want to get out of little sodus bay and catch some whoppers! I am a bass fisherman, but want to catch some browns. we have a 17 ft lowe deep hull, so we cant go miles out and fish with down riggers.(plus we dont have down riggers) We just want to see if we can catch a few browns closer to shore. we will be launching out of Fair Haven State park, and we cannot go too far away. If you have any suggestions on water depth, time of year, surface temp, or baits/lures, that would be awesome!!

Now is the time of year. Fish stick baits and spoons with a few oz of weight flat lined behind your *ass boat. Also run a few slide diver lite bites off the sides of your *ass boat. You will find them from the shore line out to deep water, Most around the 8fow to 35 fow now.
