not a good morning for us, dropped 1, had steering issues. a bracket came apart, had to bungie it together to get

back to the dock...I think problem solved, will try again this evening after cook out.

We stepped in $hit today and found a pretty good load of biggies that were chewing, 180' east of the creek, with larger fish coming from the surface to 55' down. The 110 wire slide diver was best, running an NBK Stingray.

Ended up launching at oak orchard since  public docks partially submerged at sandy creek.  Went 3 for 5 all kings.  Fished 75ft -125 ft water depth at 20 - 60 ft down.  Should have worked the fish harder rather than moving on searching for new pods.  Also, I think I am done with using snubbers or the rip cord things.  They must get dry rot easily.  I have heard a lot of people that say snubbers and similar are not needed if drag is set right.

We did not have the size as Gator, but also pretty darn good numbers in 170-200’. 20-40’ down area. Route 18 mag hot lips and electric funeral were good.

Heck of a temp break out here

Same this morning. Rigger with probe down 50. In 140 it was 39 degrees. In 160 it was touching 45. In 170 it was back down to 39.  North South troll was the deal.

Lake should start to transition soon if it's not already .

Historicaly , the fishing should suck for a while till the thermocline sets up .
