7-6 Sandy creek

Got out about 6 am , late start. Started north of pumphouse towards area 1, were I marked bait and fish the night before. Not takers so we headed north to about 460- 475 and got a nice steelie on Spin doc flie off the dipsy 3 set out 230 ft. Here is a picture, he looks bigger than he weighted 8.5lbs on my cheap backup scale . He had one long run but no ariel show, thought he might be a big guy but not so much. Took another (5-6lbs) 75 down in 460 fow, got him on NK monkey puke. Fishing seemed slow 3 hits 2 boated for 4.5 hour trip , with 6 rods out. great screen at 130 145 fow , if those fish get active it will get real good out there.
