I saw these attractors used on Lake Champlain and didn't really believe they would make a difference. I bought a couple from a local store and couldn't believe how effective they were! I make them now and recommend them for any fisherman that uses a downrigger. The constant fluttering and reflection of the attractors get those fish interested, indeed.
