SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Nice calm night. Went with downriggers around 50ft in 60 - 120 ft. of water Baitfish stacked throughout. Caught 16" brown with the Pink Dodger and Dreamweaver Alewife, 50ft down in a 110ft of water. On the way back in had a hit with the same setup - but lost it because line got fouled with cottonwood. Oh well, he's out there waiting for next time.

Julie nice report but I believe your line was fouled by the horrible spiny water fleas... They are in full bloom right now..... My 30lb ande fishing line will not even repel them..... Woody

Thanks for the info, Woody. Does any have any suggestions? We were using 20lb mono on the downriggers. We have also been using 17lb leadcore down the chute while trolling.
