treble hook replacement on flies

what treble hooks do most use to replace damaged trebles on flies

whatever brand u use, strongly consider 2X (strong). standard hooks tend to straighten from time to time lead to lost fish.

I try to use Owner short shank #2. the same as Tom uses on his tourny ties.

I second the 2x short shank Owners. Those hooks keep the big boys hooked up.

same with me Owners but i like size #1.

I use the same ones Tom uses on the tandem tourney flies, I believe they are Owner SST's
