Tried to scratch a few walleye on Chautaqua on Sunday during the afternoon. Trolled #30 jets off boards, one downrig, one three-way bottom rig with spinner rigs without success. After an hour/half of watching rods, we decided to save the day and anchor. North wind blowing so we hit the north side of Long Point near the marker buoy with the transom over 24' FOW. My brother and I hammered HUGE Bluegills, pumpkinseeds and a few whites for a nice little fishfry. Pieces of worm ahead of a little piece of Berkley gulp.
