Earlier this week they weren't bad during an evening trip by the park. A few weeks ago they were absolutely horrible. The rigger cable and wire divers were full of them. I now run the 30lb ande with a 15lb leader and they were pretty clean.

We went up the east side from meyers up to miliken. Had some weeds and fleas but it was manageable. Almost none on the wire divers and some on the 20# big game. Any reports on Seneca? Headed there in the morning with the fam.

Fished with two young kids thurs. for 6 hrs. The boys didn't want to stop fishing. They might be hooked!!!! Bit was slow. The other boats I watched looked slow also. Talked with one boat and they had nothing. We took 2LT - 18"

The fleas were not a problem at the Bluff [ for me] We use a three spoon Seth-Green rig on a pole. The line was braded with mono leaders for the spoons. Only took fleas off once!!!!!???

You other fishermen ,reading this ,would have really enjoyed the kids energy and enjoyment of the sport and the day on the water!!!

I ran a 5 leader seth green the other night and the fleas were minimal on that rig too.

I also enjoy have my kids on board. When my 3 year old son is with me I'm known as the net guy...go get the net dad! :D

I ran 20 FF with a 12 lbs leader, did well around the bluff area and North - both branches, staying away from the weed scum that was stirred up by the storms. 20 FF worked well.....

Nice to hear the kids enjoyment across the board! Go get 'em!!
