Moon River Ontario 7/21-7/24

Well....did another quick getaway with my wife and son to Moon River, Ontario.

Stayed at Moon Basin Marina, in a very nice cottage. They too have suffered the

summer of 2009..cold, wet, you know the deal....said the first two days there were

the best 2 they've had in some time....which brought us to the almost all day downpour

on Thursday.... good thing I had some cold Carling!

Fishing was good, not great. We concentrated on worm fishing for bass, etc to keep

my son busy...but did get in some pike fishing...got 3 of those and 2 really nice

Great to get away, and I love it up north.....so we got back in time to get

blown off my mother nature today on Lake Erie.....!
