Fish 307 Pro-Am Downrigger Rods

Just wondering if anyone has received the downrigger rods from the certificates given out at the pro-ams this year?

We(Liquid Plumber) have not sent them in yet.

I brought them in personally, he mentioned that they send the specs overseas to be made and that their shipment has been held up in customs and expected them sometime in august.

I still have ours also.Are they a certain length and weight?Or do you have a choice?Can you order them over the internet?

they are a certain length and weight i believe. From what i hear they are great rigger rods for spoons but a bit light for flasher flies

They look alot like the diamondback rigger rods. Pretty nice rods

They never have them in stock........problem with the manufacturer (overseas) go figure

Just been having problems with the rods is all and they're pretty upset about it too.

Its a great place to purchase from , I buy stuff from there all the time , good people. , fast

I just got off the phone with them and they told me the rods were on a boat coming in. The rods will not be in till the end of the Aug. and will be 9ft. with action's from heavy too light. They were sorry for the delay.

I recieved 4 a few years ago in Oswego. We like the rods. Great for spoons light for flashers. I will buy more when I need new rods.

yep me too love mine , kinda like a 9ft 9wt fly rod with long fighting butt, super light in ur hand well balanced and you can really bend the crap out of them weather ur setting the tips close to the water for better hook ups or really hammering down on a fish , there more like a custom rod than anything ive seen that was not custom !
