Thanks to Pete of ON THE LAM and Frank from HOME OFFICE for getting Gray into some Browns Sunday morning aboard the ON THE LAM. King fishing was slow so Pete and frank wanted to take us out to get my boys into some Browns. Liam decided he had to sleep in due to a long night at Harbor Fest, so Gray had to do all the battling. Gray had a real heartbreaker when a 10-11 pound plus hooked jawed male cut the line on a rigger while trying to net that pig. He had a last burst of energy that we did not expect and he got into the rigger wire. Gray caught a few browns and dropped a few fish as he was the only one who fought the fish that morning. He did manage to bring in a 7 pounder. He man handled the 10 colors lead core rod tipped with a orange veggies spoon if I can remeber correctly. He picked the orange color scheme for our spoon program which seemed to be producing. He learned a ton more aboat sportfishing also. He learned a very colorful word used when one loses a 11 pound Brown in the riggers and how to tell a guy off in a New Jersey fashion who was roaring in the harbor in a no wake zone and dangerously overtaking a vessel incorrectly. He was reminded of the unwritten law of "what is said and happens aboard stays aboard" Thanks for taking the pictures Frank. Thanks for burning your gas Pete and another one for the memory bank aboard the ON THE LAM. Thanks again guys. We had a blast!:beer:
