SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Fishing continues to be stellar - fish were loaded starting in 150' and working north. We had our first fish 5 minutes in on our first rod - the wire Dipsy with a Kelly green Spinny/crinkle green fly out 220', #3 setting at a slow troll 2.1 mph sog. Somehow we fought this thing for 25 minutes and wound up in 240 fow...Nonetheless, we motored back in and out between 150 and 180 fow and it was a slow steady pick the rest of the morning. Best fish was a nice 22# king on our 85' rigger with an NBK spoon. First fish was 17# on the wire, and the last three estimated between 5 and 7 pounds. The last three fish were again on the Kelly green wire (220', #3) a 42 second Spinny/Fly on wire(240', #3) and a carmel dolphin free slider on the 110' rigger. I wished we could've stayed out longer.....

Good luck everyone,

- Chris
