Boys had a hard time making up there minds if they wanted to go or not so it was after 8am when we went down. Then the road crew had the road closed after they told us they would keep one lane open. Tall Paul BS with them and the let us thru. What a chop today worst than yesterday but to late for Stan and King to back out- hang on boys we're going across. Fished west side south of where we were yesterday and could not get any thing to fire for some time. Then Stan landed a small laker that we put back. Weeds were not bad but fleas were , they were sticking to my 30# Andre line so we were clearing line about every 20 minutes or so after we lost one laker that the fleas jammed up the eye of the pole. These fish-hook fleas are the worst seem to stick to every thing. We went on up into the area that was hot yesterday and landed 2 landlocks , one laker and a nice 19" brown at 3#12oz. lost two more lakers that did a light bite deal for us.Not a bad day , Stan , Paul and Kinger got a bite to eat and headed home all quite here now the way Gracie likes it......LOL
