SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Early on there was some action on the screen in 160 fow and right on the surface where I picked up a small bow then it dried up and I saw some boats far out north.I joined them at 500 fow and trolled north with the rigger down at 90 feet.

The king hit and gave a dancing show.It was a bit tricky to bring the other line in and in my exitement I brought the rigger up way to fast and bumped the rigger pole hard enough to break the wire and I lost a nice 10 pound stinger pancake weight.That is the price for being alone in a boat.Anyway, it turned out to be an eighteen pound fish so I can't really complain.The other bows were in the 6 pound range.
