Do any of you guys have experience with Scotty riggers set up with the 350 Rodmaster II rodholders on the #259 height extenders? I may be getting a new set of Scottys and was wondering how well these worked compared to the standard dual rodholders. Thanks.

I've been using them for a while, I replaced 1 of the standard fixed rod holders on each of my 1116's with the scotty ones (not those Rodmaster II's but the same concept) the stock rod holders were my 1 complaint about the scotty riggers, I Like my rigger rods almost parallel to the water and these allow me to do that

I have them on my corner riggers (new 2 weeks ago) seem to work fine for about 75 fish so far. :)

Easy to rig, see and set.

I am a little scared cause if they break I loose a $300.00 rod/reel

I fish east end, and i had them, but i found that when I fished deep, say over 100', there was too much torque on them They pratically twisted out of the base on the corner/boom riggers. They never failed, i just wasn't satisfied. I went to the boom mount holder.

If anyone wants them, (i think i have 6?) make an offer. (PM).
