8 Year old hauls in slob laker

Here is a picture of my nephew and I with his 19lb. 4 oz laker that holds 2nd place right now in the Orleans County Rotary Derby. He reeled the fish in all by himself and smiled the entire time (not nearly as much as FISHIMAN would have). My brother is going to get this fish mounted for him.

great job ! 2 years ago my youngest boy caught a 17lb laker (he was 11 at the time) he still reminds me how he caught the biggest one that day. Like Longline wrote ,"he'll remember that one for a long time,

Thanks guys. Too bad the LOC minimum age is 10 . He wants to fish with us AND participate. I told him we will take a day off and fish with him. He is bummed he can't fish for prizes in the LOC.

thats ok , great job lil man im 26 and still not seen a laker that big pulled in by my hands .... the memories from that fish will last longer than any prise he could win thats all that counts !!!!!
