Dipsey Rigging questions

I was wondering if it's best to tie a wire line directly to a dipsey or to use a swivel instead so you can switch easy?

What colors dipseys seem to work best on Lake O? I've been using clear and black with limited success but now Im wondering if I should use something bright and gaudy instead of trying to camoflage them?

I would definitely use a swivel on the wire so that you can change the dipsys or take them off to store your rods. The best two dipsys for me are black and watermelon.
