I had a blast on the lake today. launched from Meyers. I was on the water before sunrise and caught 2 small lakers and one around 5 lbs. Two came on a green glow alpena diamond, and the other on a sutton 44. After the sun came up nothing, i tried everything. Then I came across a blue and green R&R spoon, dropped it down to 70' over 300 and that made for steady action. Caught 6 more lakers all around 5# and one of them made 8#. One of the best days I have had out there by myself, and all quality fish. The bite slowed down around 2. This is a day i will remember for a long time.
