I have a pile of 8's but next order thinking about getting a couple 10's.

Anybody running them? when do you bust them out? or just another trick in the box like everything else just to mix the program up a bit from the norm.

I have been running them behind copper, divers and riggers. I think when the fish are aggressive they may have some advantages but I don't have enough experience with this stuff to be confident of my opinion. I do run 10"s behind 500' and 600' copper most of the time and if I'm running my wire Mag divers w/ 280'+ out, I like to have a 10" on at least one side of the boat.

We run both the 8 in. & 10 in. spinnies. We use 10 in. on the riggers, 8 in. for dipsys. This setup works extremely well on the north shore. Normally, we run a 72 in., 3 fly rig together with an MCRocket(art. herring strip). Due to the drag from the 3 fly & rocket, a lot of flashers won't rotate, but act more like a dodger. The spin doctors always rotate at all speeds

The 10 inchers were very consistent producers last year out of Oak Orchard. They were good on the center rigger (deep) and the divers. Green, white and green on white worked the best for us.
