Keuka 8/24/2009 - Evening Trip

[Trolling Keuka]

Decided for a quick trip to Keuka this evening with my son. Launch from the state park about 6pm. Set the riggers for my son, had some streakers so I shortened and lengthened the leaders back from the ball...no takers Switch spoons a few times but still no takers. Took one 6.2 lb laker on a green hammer big weenie fly behind a mountain dew spin dr. #2 setting on a black dipsy diver, set out 215'. Surface temp was 76* and 46* 83' down. Didn't find any bait and had no problems with fleas. Weeds weren't too bad...had more problems with the pleasure boaters getting too close.
