Kicker set up

I was wondering if any of you could give me advice on a steering arm thinger majigger. I need to attach my yammy t9 to my main motor. I wont be using a bracket as it will mount directly to transom. It seems to me there are 2 kind of steering arms out there. The EZ Steer and this one made by Stearns that is 150 dollars less. Is this Stearns one fine?
