Mexico 4/21

Went 5 for 6 all on stickbaits in 15-20'. All browns with the largest about 6 lbs. Took awhile to find them but finally did at 8:30. Off the water by 11:30. Saw other boats picking a way at a few also. Spoke to some guys at the launch that got skunked but it was finally nice to get out on the water and get the stink off.

good job....looking to get into some of those bad boys myself.

From the reports looks like it's a early morning bite only or does it just slow down.....thinking of coming up that way on monday and just trying to figure out how early I have to get there...

We went east first......zilch. Then headed west and finally found them. We were on the water at 6:30. iFirst fish 8:30. Talked to guys at the dock would had done well earlier in the week but Sat was just a slow morning. Heard guys on the radio up north near Brennan's beach that were having a slow go of it. Their there but with that northwest wind I think it just plays havoc with them. Just great to be fishin' !!!
