Lakeport Bowmanville

I normally only fish musky but would like to try salmon and trout. Is it to late to launch out of Lakeport or Bowmanville?

where is the boat launch in bowmanville??

There are signs once you come off Hwy 401 at the Liberty St exit. The launch is in poor condition so if you have a 23'+ boat, you may be better off launching in Newcastle which is only 5 minutes east of Bowmanville.

Not too many musky found near Bowmanville. Some pike but I have only seen 1 caught in the lake in 20+ years of fishing there.

There is alaunch in Port Darlington (liberty exit) was out on July 4th Got one 28lb »Chinook and two out of 3 rainbows landed. Salmon on dipsey 120of line out over 110ft of water. Bows on planner boards with green and silver cleos.
